Barnett Dossie 71, was born February 5, 1950, to the late Anise and Willie Mae Dossie. Barnett took his final breath in the presence of his wife, Charlene, and daughter, Patrice on April 4, 2021.
Barnett attended Akron, Det and Mansfield Public Schools, and the University of Akron. Barnett worked for NAACP, Yellow Cab, Quality Castings, and Ken-Tool & Die. Barnett also was the owner and operator of Triple D. Ice Cream 2.
Barnett loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed listening to and singing old-school rhythm and blues while dancing to the beat and drinking his Crown Royal. Barnett played Hot Stove League Baseball, East PeeWee Football, and some Golden Glove boxing as a young teen.Barnett was a faithful believer in Yahweh and would always get the last word.
