Chad Joseph Bronner (Johnson) was born on March 20, 1979, and was the only son of Cynthia Johnson Bronner of Akron Ohio.
Chad loved the Lord, his family and his friends. He was what many called a Big Teddy Bear. He was very direct and most of the times, told you about yourself whether you wanted to hear it or not. He was a mentor to young men, helping to raise them, teach them right from wrong and a counselor for them as needed. He loved nature and like his mother, he loved to read and learn. Chad wanted his family to have a better life and he initiated the steps to make that happen. He started building and selling speaker boxes that brought him more success than he planned for. He also started building a 3D printer so we could mass create items to sell. Chad had a mind for creativity and was at a stage in his life that he could make it happen.
As a little boy, Chad loved to read about history and dinosaurs. He grew up with his grandfather learning how to work on cars, build model airplanes and the proper way to handle and clean firearms. While in middle school Chad was in the United States Naval Cadet Program. During high school, he dove further into vehicle body work and restored several cars of his own. At the age of 17 he became an apprentice and found a love for wood working. His first project was a king size bed with exquisite designs that he had to learn how to cut, rout and shellack. He joined Youth Build and amongst other things, he learned how to build a house and said that he liked trimming the most. During this time, he met Marquetta Corn and they later decided they wanted a child. They had a daughter named Nijhera and he loved her so much, he couldn’t stand to be away from her. Chad built a connection with his daughter the way his mother did with him, open, honest and connected. Many would be shocked by the way they could speak to each other wondering if maybe they were too open and direct but Chad believed his daughter needed to know how to communicate with others and not be hurt by ridicules or disappointments. He taught her both mental and emotional strength and showed her love every single day of his life.
Chad and his sister Carla took classes together for certificates in AutoCad and as Certified Machinists. He later took classes at Akron University for a Certificate in Sterile Processing where he then worked at Crystal Clinic as a Sterile Processor. A couple years later, he got his dream job working at the Akron Zoo and being able to see the turtles and Komodo Dragon every day. He learned a lot about the animals and would call Mom every day during his lunch break and tell her what he learned or how his day was going.
Chad loved his mother so much; he always wanted her to come to his house and stay the night so they could watch tv together and share dinner. He even gave her one of the bedrooms so she could feel comfortable while she was there. Like his daughter, Chad shared a connection with his mother that grew deeper and stronger as time went by.
My brother will be eternally missed by everyone he cared about and his immediate family that said every day, “I love You”.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Cynthia Johnson Bronner, daughter Nijhera Bronner, sister Carla Bronner, grandchild Rayne Penrod, Charles Bronner know as Pops, stepchildren Marquell Fields, Chance Hamilton and Sarina Hamilton, aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends.
