Aharon Le’Maar Pittman Sr., affectionately known as “BABEE” (a nickname he earned as the youngest boy of the Pittman family, and was treated as such), was born March 31st, 1990. to Anthony Martin and Sherri Pittman-Donald in Akron, Ohio.
Aharon attended Akron Public schools, and North High School, where he threw himself into every sport, football, basketball, baseball, and tennis.
Aharon was a devoted father, a loving brother to his sister, Syheira, who he admired so much, and a loyal friend and a protector of his family. He found joy in the simple things, spending time with his boys (Aharon and Greyson) and watching Aharon Jr. play sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and sharing laughs and memories. He loved visiting and hanging out with his Granny, A.k.A, Gee.Gee.
His presence was magnetic, and his smile was infectious, you knew when he was presence, that you were going to have a good laugh or two. If he wasn’t making you laugh, he was trying to sing “Lord I want you to help me”, or “Jesus be a fence” and last but not least, “Try Jesus but Don’t Try me, ’cause I throw hands.” He was known to be the life of the party. Aharon was the first to step up if anyone needed support or encouragement.
On April 13th, 2025, God called Aharon’s name, and he answered. Awaiting his arrival, those who preceded him in death; his grandmother, Mary ( MeeMaw) Pittman and Grandfather Rev. O.D. Pittman; uncles, Ronald A. Pittman, and Dr. Robert Jackson; and his best friend, Shawrica (Tune-Na) Lester.
Aharon’s memories will be upheld by; his loving Mother, Sherri Pittman Donald, father, Anthony Martin (Akron, Ohio), his sister’s, Syheira Pittman and Makaela Powers ( Columbus, Ohio); His brother, Tyler McCraney ( Akron, Ohio); his two boys, Aharon Le’Maar Pittman Jr. (mother, the love of his life, whom he adored. Assia Brown) and Greyson Gatlin (mother, Shalamarr Gatlin-Harmon); grandmother, Patricia ( Gee,Gee) Martin (Akron, Ohio); aunts, Carey ( Aunt Tish) Martin ( Reynoldsburg, Ohio), Deborah Jackson( San Diego, California ) , and special aunt, Patricia ( Toni) Henry (Charlotte, North Carolina) who he was forever thankful and grateful for because their relationship that brought him unwavering love, support, and companionship throughout his life; nieces, Shammara and Sa’Vaya Pittman; nephews, Steven and Se’Vohn Pittman; special cousins, Kayla Butts, Eryca Pittman- Hakeem, Erymis Pittman , Eryc ( Boom’r) Pittman, Daevin ( Feth’r) Pittman, Demita Cherry, Christian (Buster) Williams; special Great Aunt, Norma James Aunt Snookie); God sisters, Tracey Jones and Lisa (Tiona) Jones; close friends, Ricco Lester, Special Griffin, Maurice Bulter, DarShawana Powell and Diante Neal, and a host of other friends, cousins, aunts and uncles who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
