In Loving Memory Of

Sharon D. Caffee

Sunrise: February 3, 1952
Sunset: July 14, 2025

Sharon D. Caffee entered this world February 3, 1952, and departed this life July 14, 2025, into the arms of the lord surrounded by family at her bed side after a brief illness.

She was born to Samuel and Louise Caffee the baby of the family and was a lifetime resident of the community

She received Christ at an early age and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church later joining The House of The Lord where she enjoyed fellowship with Minister Pat Reece and Sis Gwen Cunningham.

She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Gerber beauty School. She was employed at Steer Enterprise and Signature Designs until her health began to fail.

Sharon enjoyed going to the casino and family dinners at her daughter’s home. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was a no-nonsense woman that told you exactly how she felt. With age she became a softie especially with her grandchildren that she adored.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Samuel and Louise Caffee; grandson, Zhyion Bell Caffee; brother, Samuel Caffee Jr.; sisters, Diane Jones, Caroline (Clarence) Maxwell and Barbara; niece, Annette Parson, and nephew Michael Maxwell.

She will be forever missed and cherished by daughters, Kimberly “Kimmi” Carter, Anjanette “Angie” Caffee; grandchildren, Devinne Caffee, Elgin Lee Caffee, DaNay Carter; great granddaughters, Da’Naysia Mcmullen and Dakota Caffee; great grandsons, Dominic Caffee, Zhyaire Caffee, and great-great granddaughter, Ava Mcmullen.
Sister, Gloria Fitch; special niece, Crystal (James) Ivory; sister-in-law, Charlotte Caffee; partner in crime and niece, Renee Jones Hinton; bonus daughters, Chanda (Chris) Martin, Yvonne (Curtis) Moore; special granddaughter, Darlisa McMullen; in-laws and travel buddies Albert and Tomella Carter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Special thanks to The House of The Lord and Minister Pat Reece and Pastor Linda Isaiah, Cleveland Clinic Hospice/ Angela and Lori and Maurice Hatcher/Sommerville Funeral Services and everyone who sent prayers and love.

Cremation has taken place and per Sharon’s request there will be no services.

As much as this hurts, we take solace in knowing when you entered Heaven you heard Matthew 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant”

Never goodbye but see you later rest well our beloved
Mom, Mommy, Momma and Pooch!
