Robert Vaughn Threatt, 59, born August 25, 1966, went home to be with the Lord whom he had a very close personal relationship with, on September 9, 2025. He went peacefully home with his loving wife by his side. He was a member of Mount Enon Missionary Baptist Church of Dayton, Ohio under Pastor Cory Pruitt.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Ann Threatt-Sullivan and Robert Lee Threat Jr.; grandmothers, Betty Ann Hunt and Evelyn Threatt.

He leaves to cherish his memory devoted and loving wife, Kimberly Threatt; his best friend and sister, Fatima B. Threatt Matthews (Maurice); the apple of his eye and twin daughter, Brittney Davis-Threatt (Eric); 3 grandsons, Lance, Elijah and Rhyder; 3 great grandsons, Aycen, Kymir and Kylen all of Akron, Oh; also his children who affectionately called him Papa Bear whom he loved deeply daughters, Mercedes, Diamond, Brittany and Jasmine and his only son, Marlon Powers; 19 grandchildren all of Columbus, Ohio; bonus mom, Marcia Merchant whom he adored; special nephew, Terry; close cousins, Tammie, Dwan, Michael and Keith; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
