Yvette M. Floyd “Michelle” was born February 27, 1959, and she passed away on March 3, 2020.

Yvette was born to the union of Ernestine and Herman Floyd Sr. Being born and raised in the church, Yvette accepted Christ at a young age and attended Buchtel high school, later receiving her GED and had some college under her belt. She later became an STNA, and worked in several nursing homes and she also bartended. Yvette lived in Wooster and Orriville Oh, then later moved back to Akron to be closer to her family. She was very talented, and tech savvy and was loving, caring and forgiving. She was very well known and loved.

She is preceded in death by parents and brother, Herman Floyd Jr.

Yvette leaves to cherish her memories children, Courtney, Choyce, Charles and Ophelia; brothers, Vernon and Derrick Floyd; adopted brothers, Benard Barnhill and Tomeckia Boon whom she loved very much; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
