Jaxson Lee Hunt passed away on March 14, 2020 after living a happy life of fighting tough battles. Jaxson was brought into this world as a twin with his sister, Jori Lynn Hunt. They arrived into this world on November 13, 2020 in Akron, Ohio. Jori 1lb and Jax 2lbs to Jasmine, Lana, and Lynn Hunt after the birth of her daughters, Mya and Mariah Speaight.
Jaxson attended Nicole’s Nest and Auntiemom’s child care center. He was a premature baby born at 26 weeks old. Jaxson came into this world a fighter! While his sister needed oxygen to help her breath, Jaxson survived his first day of life without any oxygen before needing to be placed on the ventilator. Jaxson fought the entire 4 months he was in the hospital. He was determined to come home. He quickly learned how to breathe on his own and how to bottle feed although he needed help feeding with a gtube.
Jaxson is a very advanced baby, he learned how to hold his head up quickly and he crawled really fast. He loved doing things he shouldn’t do and is very quick with his hands would jump in the bathtub with Mommy, and knock down all of the milk cans off the kitchen stand and put them back up. He has the most beautiful smile, loves to laugh and he makes the best cuddle baby ever. He loves being held and talked to like a little baby it made him laugh. His sisters brought the biggest laughter out of him and he brought the biggest joy into our lives. Jaxson is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever seen. He is so full of life. He loved to play, follow his sisters around, and even shower with Mommy. Jaxson spent a lot of time with his favorite Auntie Lana and they grew an unbreakable bond, he loves when she called him lil lil baby. Jax loves being in the kitchen with his Mommy cooking. He is very affectionate and loving. Jaxson also shared a very strong bond with his older Sisters, his Grandparents, his Uncle Tone, Cheyenne (and kids), and a few other baby sitters.
He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Antoinette Averett-Hunt, Great Great Grandparents, Carrie and John Hunt.
