On September 25, 1995, Christi and Jamie Holliday were blessed by the birth of their youngest, beautiful baby girl and they named her, Bryonna Sharmayne. Bryonna gained her wings at the age of 27, on December 16, 2022, after a short illness.
Bryonna accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the age 16. She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Kenmore High School in 2013. Bryonna’s lifelong dream was to become a great chef like her dad. She was excited to attend the University of Akron Culinary Arts Program in 2017.
She began working at an early age as a student helper in Kenmore’s Job Vocational Program. After graduation, she was employed by Rockynol Retirement Village, Toys R Us, and finally at Wyandt Woods as a Culinary Aide, which she really enjoyed.
Bryonna was sweet and soft, with a heart of pure gold, she would help anyone she could. Her love and happiness were contagious. She had a smile that would light up a room. She loved her family and enjoyed family celebrations. She could not tolerate sudden loud noises or boisterous, rude people. She became a great cook and loved sharing recipe creations with her grandma Linda and watching the food network. Dad and Bryonna had a special bond, and he called her Miss Minnie. Beyonca and Bryonna lived their entire life like twins; they were best friends/sisters. Beyonca was Bryonna’s bodyguard and forever protecting and looking out for her best interest. They loved each other so much that they often took vacations and shared birthdays together.
Bryonna was preceded in death by her mom, Christi Hale-Holliday; grandparents, Elmer James Hale, Barney James Holliday Sr, Karen Diane Holliday, Otis and Marthena Phillips, Foster Grace, Betty Rumph, and Lucille Evans.
Bryonna leaves to cherish her memory; dad, Jamie(Lena) Holliday; siblings, Kayla Hale, Kraig Hale-Holliday, Mychale (D’Angelo) Green, Kristopher (Mariah) Hale, Beyonca Holliday; grandparents, Linda (Lee) Twymon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and her very special friend, Bradley McDonald.
