CEDRIC RICHARDSON II, beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 24th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable presence.

Born on August 24, 1988, in Akron, OH, Cedric grew into a man known for his warm yet lively personality, his kindness, and his deep devotion to the people he loved. Cedric had a heart that cared deeply and a spirit that touched many.

Cedric was a loving father to Carteon, Eliza, and Ezra Richardson, whom he cherished deeply. He called his family his “greatest accomplishments in life.” He and his wife, Shanae, had been together
for 21 years and married for 14 years. They shared a profound bond and love that moved through seasons, challenges, and growth.

Cedric is survived by his wife, Shanae, their children, Carteon, Eliza, and Ezra, his mother, Lavonda Cody (fiancé James Broughton), his father, Cedric Richardson sr (wife Dionne Richardson), siblings, Michael, Sirvantae, Rashauna, and Felicity, and a host of relatives and friends who will forever carry his Memory.

He was preceded in death by Yvonne Richardson, Charles “Calvin” Richardson, Marcus Glover, Donald & Dennis Lewis, Minnie “Grandma Nana” Lee Lewis, and Henrietta Ann Cody. Cedric’s
presence will be deeply missed, but his love lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow.
