Charles “Charlie” Ware Jr. was born September 8, 1942, in Bessemer AL., to Norma Mae (Shelton) Moore.

Charlie was a graduate of South High School. After graduation he enjoyed traveling and traveled for a while. He worked for 20 years at Lancer Dispersions Inc. Although Charlie did not attend church on a regular basis, his profession was that he loved God.

On Friday August 19, 2022, Charlie departed this earthly life at his home in Akron. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Mae (Shelton) Moore; grandparents Rev. Alex and Alberta Shelton; brother Alex Ware; Uncle Alex Shelton Jr, Rev. James Shelton, Jessie Shelton, Robert, and Rev. Leroy Shelton; two aunts Lucy and Lulabelle Shelton.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Karen Ware; stepson, Dimitris Williams; sisters Luberta Lindsey, Annie Walters, Alberta Thornton, Lestine Williams; grandsons Dimitrius and Jordon Williams; as well as a host of other family and friends.
