Chazmen Lee King born on July 29, 1985, to April Lee King and the late Gary L. Boykin, passed from labor to rest with the Lord on November 22, 2022.
He made the decision to surrender his life to Jesus Christ, accepting Jesus as his Savior and was baptized at the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorage of Elder Jimmie K. Rodgers.
Chazmen was a lifelong resident of Akron, attending Akron Public schools as well as The University of Akron and Hiram College.
He was employed as a factory worker and at times a cook.
His love for his children and family is beyond measure, a chain of love that can never be broken.
Chazmen had a smile that lit up every room he entered. He had the most wonderful cheerful and humorous personality that will never be forgotten. He was a loyal, true friend to many who respected and cared deeply for him.
He was preceded in death by his; father, Gary L. Boykin; grandparents, Annie King Walker and John King; grandfather, Joseph Fletcher Sr.; uncles, David A. King, James B. Veal; aunt, Jackie R. King; cousin, Annissa L. King and a host of other relatives who have gone to their home in glory.
He leaves to forever cherish his loving memory sons, Nae’Shaun Leimikel and Kendyl Lee King; mother, April Lee King; stepfather, Joseph Fletcher Jr.; grandmothers, Joyce A. King and Marva Fletcher; brother, Cameron Lee King; sister, Channel King; special brothers, Joseph II, Darrius and Tyrese Fletcher; special sister, Alea Shantea Fletcher; uncles, Harry Lee King, John (Dreama) Clepper; special aunt, Debra Lee King; devoted cousins, D”Arrius Cortney King, Ivery L. King Derrick (Jessica) Moore, Donald (Martha) Adams Jr., Mrs. Stacey A (Ivan) King-Jones; former wife, MyLeaka Griffin; special companion, Heather Morgan and a host of special aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.
