Clifford Culver Sr., also known as “CC” was born December 20, 1946, to Loraine (Ross) Woodruff and Emmitt Culver in Akron, OH. As a young man he had the opportunity to travel throughout the country learning different cultures and customs. Because of his military upbringing, as an adult traveling became one of his passions. When he wasn’t traveling you would find him hanging out with his friends and playing dominos, or watching a good football game particularly the Cleveland Browns which was his favorite team.

Clifford was a dedicated and hardworking man; he had experience working on the railroads and in different factories throughout the states. In 2015, Bro. Clifford accepted Christ as his personal Lord & Savior and became a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Akron.

He left us to join our Lord, Father, and Savior on January 2, 2024, at 3:10 AM. Clifford was proceeded in death by both of his parents and a brother.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Bridget Marie Culver who took care of him until his illness required him to be transferred to the Highland Square Nursing Home. He also leaves behind his son, Clifford Emmitt Culver Jr. (Monika), Akron, OH, who also loved him dearly; stepdaughters, April (Nicholas) Parker of Rockhill, SC; and Nicole Carter of Akron, OH; all mothered by Brenda Carter; and dear friend, Michael Howard. Clifford Sr.; grandchildren, Martino Livingston, Katina Arnold, Marquetta Culver, Ty’Keisha Arnold Bonner, Tre’von Livingston, Amber Livingston, Bethany Huron, Quontiqua Culver and Tanikqua and forty-one great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and other friends.
