Daivan M. Floyd born in Akron, Ohio on June 14, 1997, to the late Ophelia Patrice Floyd. He was transitioned from this earthly life February 10, 2026.
Daivan was the oldest of 4 siblings. He attended Garfield high School where he pursued his passion for basketball with dreams of one day making it to the NBA.
Even after being diagnosed with his heart condition. Daivan did not let his dreams die. He worked numerous jobs to take of his mother and siblings. Where he eventually met Tamaira Inman and had two beautiful children, Stacy and Saint Floyd.
Daivan was a loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Friend.
He is preceded in death by great grandparents, Herman and Yvette Floyd; mother, Ophelia Floyd as well as a host uncles and cousins.
He is survived by children, Stacy-Jayne Ophelia, Saint Avier Inman (Floyd) and Isabelle Bennett; siblings, Desyre, Deziah, Devanier Floyd; aunts and uncles, Vernon (Cynthia) Floyd, Derick (Joel) Floyd, Dianne Floyd, Courney Floyd, Chloe Floyd and Charles Breeze; father, Antion Gibson; godmother, Daris Palm; nieces, nephews and cousins as well as extended family and friends. Daivan will truly be missed.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Ohio.
