Elizabeth “Eliza” A. Davis was born on March 27, 1931 in Tyler , Alabama to Mary Peterson and Frank Carter. She was a child of God, a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother; she was also a great caring and loving person.
The legacy she created will forever live strong and blessed recipes will forever live through her children, grandchildren and their children. She loved to play cards and fishing. She was the backbone to all of her children and grandchildren. Her greatest achievement was motherhood.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Peterson; father, Frank Carter; beloved daughter, Annie “Nell” Davis, and beloved sons, Frank James, and Jessie James Davis; five beloved sisters and one beloved brother, Anthony Hollingshed (son-in-law).
She is survived by her children, Dennis Davis, Lillie Davis, Lavonne Davis, Margo Davis (Eugene Primes), and Sharon Hollingshed; 21 beloved grandchildren, 47 beloved great grandchildren, 28 great great grandchildren, and a host of special family and friends.
