Ernel Dwayne Crump Jr, 29, became an Ancestor on March 15, 2023. He was born June 23, 1993 t Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, to Yolanda Moreland and Ernel Dwayne Crump Sr. He graduated from East High School in Akron, Ohio, class of 2011. Following graduation, Ernel vowed to live life to the fullest and with every fiber of his being. He did just that!

Ernel had lifelong passion for dancing, like his father, and enjoyed helping others. He advocated for time with family and friends. Ernel was eager to share the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was so loving, encouraging, and a natural born comedian. Waynee, stayed uplifted and his spirit shined. He would always light up any room entered. He could cheer anyone up with his words and demeanor. He was truly the life of the party. He aspired to be the Crump/Moreland family historian because he enjoyed sharing stories and his knowledge of both families, whilst maintaining relationships with all remaining Crump descendants.

Most importantly, Ernel was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend. He never missed an opportunity to spoil his nieces and nephews, siblings and friends. He was the happiest when he was surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by; father, Ernel Crump Sr; grandmothers, Rochele “Mickey” Jones (Crump) and Eris “Mae” Crump (Price), Mattie Madison; grandfathers, Thomas James Moreland and Melton Crump; aunts, Renee Crum, Kenya Jones and Michelle Moreland; uncles, Atwan Jones, David, Roy and Cary Crump and one nephew, Knowledge White, all of Youngstown, Ohio.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory; mother, Ms. Yolanda Moreland of Akron, Oh; sisters, Helen Collins and her children, Kalee Dani-Lynn and Alayah Dream Collins of Akron, Oh, Jasmayne (Victor) Smith (Crump) Travis and their children, Elijah Ma”at, Ezra Marak and Enzo James Travis of Cleveland, Oh; brothers, Valar Moreland and his children, E’Lanta and E’mari Moreland of Akron, Oh. Keylo White and his children, Cali White and Keylong “KJ” White, of Youngstown, O. Daylen Blair and his children, Dontavious, Dai’auna and Da”mya Blair of Columbus, Oh; Leetwan (Melinda) Patterson and their child, Legacy Patterson, of Newnan, GA; youngest brother, Tenton Domic of Akron, Ohio; Great Aunt, Sheila Crump, her son, Michael Crump Sr. and his child Michael Jr.; great aunt, Dasi Crump, and the remaining Crump descendant; cousins, Yashicka Crump, Danaryll Green Jr. (Crump), Antwan Jones and his child Catalina Jones; grandmother, Helen Moreland; aunts, Mattie Moreland, Angela Moreland, Annette Moreland, Shron Moreland, Blanchie West, Charlotte Moreland and Christine Moreland; uncles, Shun Moreland and Thomas Moreland; all of their children and a village of extended family and a host of other friends.
