James Calmese Jr. was born in Akron, Ohio in 1974 and graduated from The Ohio State University.

He always knew what to say and little things he loved and cared for, he put his all into.

James was a huge OSU football fan, along with DC, Marvel, and Star Wars. The one thing he cherished most was his daughter, Rachel, he loved her more than anything.
He also had an unbreakable bond with his brother, John Calmese, they pretty much did everything together. James loved spending time with family. He loved being a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandson. James was an amazing friend to all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by mother, Michelle Spencer Calmese; grandfathers, Frederick Calmese and T.J. Spencer.
Survived in death by father, James A Calmese Sr.; daughter, Rachel Calmese; wife, Tasha Calmese; brother, John (Candace) Calmese and a host of nieces and nephews.
