James LaMarr Hancock was born April 6, 1986, in Alliance, Ohio to the parents of Vickie Lynn Pugh and Richard Louis Hancock Sr. He attended North High school in Akron, Ohio.
James enjoyed riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, and fishing. He loved grilling and playing pranks on everyone. His ultimate joy was spending time with his children and family. They loved riding bikes together.
He was a model and loved supervisor at Schultz Lawn Service and Landscaping Inc for 13 years. He was loved by every customer he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Louis Hancock Sr.; sister, A’liyia Hancock; maternal grandparents, Alfonzo and Amanda Pugh; paternal grandfather, James Hancock Sr.; uncles, William “Baldy” Hancock and Areginald Scott Hancock and great uncle and aunt, Charles and Ruth Hancock.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Vickie Lynn Pugh; grandmother, Clara Hancock; daughters, Nevaeh Armani Hancock, Jaiyah James Hancock; son, Kaiden Ezekiel Hancock;
siblings, Iesha Q. Hancock, Richard L. (Diane) Hancock Jr, Shawnta (A. C.) Pugh Artrez “Bacon” Louis, Amber Hancock, Aliysha Stermer, A ‘Reginald Hancock, and Marcus Davis; 18 nieces and nephews and 3 great-nieces and nephews; life partner, Tabitha Unkefer- Canfora and Elijah Unkefer who he held close to his heart as a son; mother of his daughters, Ashley Kegg. He will be greatly missed by a host of aunts and uncles and cousins
