Kahmario Porter Coleman, age 14, passed away the evening of December 29, 2022. He died peacefully at home with his mother and father by his side.
Kahmario was a very funny and outgoing person. He loved making people laugh and people could not help but to be drawn in by his joyous and playful spirit. Kahmario loved his friends and would prefer to spend most of his free time with them. If he was not with his friends, he would spend time with his siblings and cousins, all of whom he had a very close relationship with. Kahmario was a freshman at GlenOak High School. He loved to play sports. He played football for Oakwood Middle School and was looking forward to playing for GlenOak. He also loved playing basketball. He would go outside every day after to school to work on perfecting his craft and he was starting to get really good. He also spent a lot of time playing video games as most of his online buddies knew him as “GamerMarMar”. Kahmario was very smart and would excel at anything he put his mind to. He had so much potential and aspired to one day become a real estate agent. To know Kahmario, was to love him. We would joke that he was the equivalent of a sour patch kid: On the surface, he could come across as grouchy or sour, but was a sweet as can be to his core.
Kahmario leaves behind his devoted mother and father, Tiara Waters and Jermaine Coleman, his twin sister Kahliyah Coleman, sisters, Kamari McCleskey and Audre’una Coleman, brother, Kahlil Coleman, grandparents, Mark Waters, Tracey Johnson, John and Mary Coleman, great grandparents Tim and Selena Peterson, Adren and Sandra Bradley, James Waters, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Kahmario was taken away from us way too soon, but he will forever be in our heart.
