Marcelius Keith Likely, age 34, of Charlotte, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. Marcelius loved life and he lived it to the fullest.

His infectious smile and laugh brought joy to all who knew him. Marcelius relocated to Morgantown, WV, where he received his GED in 2008, his Electrical License in 2011, then furthering his education earning his barbers license in 2021, finishing at the top of his class. His skills were greatly advanced at ‘Sharp As An Arrow’ Barber College, also while there he met the mother of his 2 children, I’Nique D. Little. His children were the light of his life, son, King’ Marcelius Kaceon Likely, affectionately known as King, and his beautiful daughter, Khi-lynn Nyelle Likely, all of NC. Marcelius (Cell as we like to call him) had recently moved to Charlotte, NC, he left no stone unturned.

He did some of everything like swimming, jet skiing, zip lining, playing tennis and traveling. He even did photo shoots and owned his own Food truck. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, who are left to celebrate his life; his loving caring mother Carletta E. Vinson of Bedford TX, father Earl M. Likely Jr (Valerie), Akron, Ohio. Siblings; Desmond L. Vinson, Earl M. Likely III, Candice M. Likely & Earliyah Likely Ruffin (Jarrett) , Step siblings; Tonia, Clayton & Toya Watts, Ricky Wallace all of Akron. Grandparents; Ray & Leola Holyfield, Uncles, Charles A. Vinson (Angel) and Charles ‘Chuckie’ Lewis (Neva); Aunts, Monica and Tonya Lewis of Miami FL, Carolyn ‘Ann’ Smoot, Cincinnati and Joyce Austin of Akron, Ohio and, fiancé, Marilin Torres, NC, and numerous cousins, friends and nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by; Great Grandmother, Rose M. Belton; Great Grandfather, Rufus Taylor; Grandparents, Earl M Sr and Carolyn Likely; Grandfather, Charles Vinson and Uncle, Michael Vinson.
