Milton Lee Williams, (affectionately known as Milty and Fred to family), was born on April 30, 1955. Milton was one of nine children born to Annie B and Willie Williams Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1984 and father in 1994.
Milton at age 65 embarked on his journey suddenly to receive his heavenly reward on March 31, 2021. He was born in Massillon, Ohio, and graduated from Washington High School. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1975, and was honorably discharged.
Milton’s favorite hobby was to craft and collect model cars. Cooking was another hobby he cultivated, while serving in the Marine Corps. Everyone loved his cornbread and bar-b-que sauce. Milton most enjoyed being a father and grandfather. He truly loved being called “pops & papa.”
Milton had many careers which included working at Patio Enclosures for several years. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Milton ventured off to own and operate a successful computer technology business until his homegoing.
He leaves to mourn his untimely passing: former wife Tracie Hicks-Williams; Children: Elliot Burgeson of Upland, California; Tia and Cody Hicks of Akron, Ohio and Milton Malek Williams of Massillon, Ohio; grandchildren: Anthony and Jayde Burgeson of Upland, California, and Codynn Hicks of Akron, Ohio; Siblings: Roy (Viola) Williams, Willie Jr. (Willie Mae) Williams all of Massillon, Ohio; Louis Williams of Akron, Ohio, Alfred (Gloria) Williams of Massillon, Ohio, Robert (Stacy) Williams of Columbus, Ohio, Mytice Williams of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Bobber and Evelyn Williams both of Massillon, Ohio; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
