Perry Lee “P-Mac” McCormick was born in Akron, OH on January 5, 1961 to Sarah Jo McCormick. He graduated from Buchtel High School where he excelled in Basketball and Swimming.
Shortly after high school, Perry’s became an apprentice Meat Cutter for Acme. He became a talented journeyman and used his skill as a butcher at several local grocery stores until he finally returned to Acme and later retired.
Perry’s hobbies were fishing, watching westerns or sports, listening to old school R&B, and playing Bid Whist.
Perry was preceded in death by his grandmother Mayzella Bickley-McCormick; daughter, Tierrah Ragsdale; granddaughters Sky and Skylar McGuire; uncles Ralph, Alton, Al, and Tommie McCormick; and aunt Connie McCormick.
Perry departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Jeanetta McCormick; sons Perry Jr. and Frankie; daughters Casey, Milana, Princess (Recardo), and LeTicia; mother Sarah Jo McCormick; grandchildren Tierrah, Taylor, Neveah, Madison, Damon, Domonie, Xavier, Kyndel, Kynadi, SaVion, Carter, Recardo III, Abel, London, DaiVier, Carl, Mason, Logan, Damontier, Dynasti, Terrelle’, Heaven, and Neveah; sisters Phyllis(Alan), Tammy, Robin, and Toi; brothers Carl(Sandra) and Mike; Godchildren Ariana, Rosie, Ericka, LaKeasha, and TaKeasha; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Perry was loved by many he knew no stranger and will be truly missed.
