Ryan Deprese Lester known as “Round Boy” by his parents and family was born on September 13, 1974, in Akron, Ohio, to his loving parents, Fred and Verleane Lester.
Ryan was employed by KDC/One Columbus as a certified tow motor driver and truly loved his job. He also received his CDL certification. He attended Central-Hower High School and had a deep love for basketball, chess and fishing. Ryan was known for calling everyone with a joke and was affectionately known as the certified jokester of the family. He also had his favorite sayings—whenever someone said something to him (or vice versa), he would respond with, “Really?” or “Rightttttttt.” Those words will forever echo in the hearts of his family.
Ryan was preceded in death by his sister, Yolonda Boddie-Lester; grandmother, Sarah Boddie; niece, Shawrica Lester, and uncle, Steven Boddie.
Ryan leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, Ryan Lester (son) and Alexus Ihrig (daughter); grandchild, Aubree Greer; and his loving parents, Fred and Verleane Lester; brothers, Fred Lester III, Damion Lester Sr, and Justin (Staci) Lester; sisters, Sandra Lester and Kenya (Danny) Young; and his special cousins, Steven (Tiffany) Boddie, Roberta Boddie, Nina Boddie, and Katica Boddie-Welch, Christopher Morrow, and Aunt, Sandra Boddie. Ryan shared a very special and loving bond with his ride-or-die and better half, Johnnie Jo Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins, along with relatives and close friends.
