Sarah Estelle Ann Craig-Penchion was born on April 27, 1955 in Demoplis, Al to the proud parents of Annie B. Craig and Burton Rowser. She was the only child to this union.

Sarah was affectionately known or called “Sarah Smile” by family and friends. She was the proud mother of one daughter, Marquice Craig.

Sarah was educated in the East Cleveland School System. She graduated from Shaw High School. Sarah continue her education at Wooster Business College receiving her degree to become a Nursing Assistant in 1988.

Sarah had a loving warm personality to know her was to love her. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need but she didn’t take no mess. She had a million dollar smile that would light up a room. Sarah enjoyed dancing, cooking and time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband, Freddie Penchion and brother, Don J. Craig.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, MarQuice; mother, Annie B. Craig; stepsons, Derrick Penchion and Tenarius Penchion; grandchildren, Jasminette, Antoinette, Lynnette, MarQuise and Dajanette Craig; 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
