Vaughn A. Davis Sr, 76, of Akron, OH made his transition to peace on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Vaughn was born in Chester, PA on March 28th, 1947, to Delia Mae (Yelding) McGowan. He attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Hower High School in 1965, where he participated in the sheet metal vocational program.
Shortly after graduating he joined the US Marines and was deployed overseas to fight in the Vietnam War as a machine gunner.
