Victor L. Moore II gained his wings on March 20, 2026.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Victor was the beloved son of Wynter J. Smith and Victor L. Moore. From an early age, he displayed a remarkable curiosity and talent for understanding how things worked. As a young boy, he could often be found taking items apart and skillfully rebuilding them—frequently repairing neighborhood bicycles and lending a helping hand to those around him.

Victor attended Akron Public Schools and later completed an electrical training program, turning his natural abilities into a profession. With determination and vision, he went on to establish his own business, Renaissance Man Inc.

A man of strong work ethic and dedication, Victor took great pride in providing for his family. He was a devoted father who remained actively involved in his children’s lives, always offering guidance, support, and love.

Victor found joy in bringing people together. He cherished time spent with family and friends, often hosting gatherings and cookouts filled with laughter, good food, and lasting memories. His welcoming spirit and generous heart made everyone feel at home.

He will be remembered for his skillful hands, his unwavering dedication, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will live on in the lives he touched.

Victor is preceded in death grandparents, Ernest G. Haines Sr., Russell and Savanah Walker and uncle, Keith R. Haines.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Wynter J. Smith; father, Victor L. Moore; children, Kaliyah, Davell and Victor Moore, Dorian L. and CaMonte J. Moore-Thomas; siblings, Shawn (Jeffrey) Taylor, Louis C. Smith Jr, Ladeadra (John) Cooper, Shovanda (Eric) Johnson, Sharnisa Smith and Ryan Bibbs; grandmother, Gladys Haines; 7 grandchildren; bonus daughter, Shania and a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Internment Mount Peace Cemetery.
