William Anthony Sanders Jr. passed away on March 13, 2024.
William Anthony Sanders Jr. was born on January 30,1991 in Akron, OH to April Carlisle. He departed this earthly life unexpectedly on March 13,2024 at the age of 33. First born of four siblings William also known as “Dookie” had a smile that could light up a room and lift the spirits of anyone around him. William graduated from Buchtel High School class of 2009. He also attended The University of Akron studying Mechanical Engineering. Described by his family as handsome, smart, lovable, multi-talented, giving, and funny. Dookie loved his family and devoted his life to his children. Co- founder of Carlisle Renovations Construction William was well known in his community. He was fascinated with making music, cars and entrepreneurship. William loved food and making bonfires.
Preceded in death by Great-grandparents Pomp and Estella Carlisle, Grandma Jack, Uncle Anthony Carlisle, Cousin Raemonique Carlisle, and Best-friend Diamond Vickers.
William leaves to mourn him; grandparents Paulette Patridge (Louis Partridge Jr.). Mother April Carlisle. Stepfathers; Rajoh McCormick and Charles Barnett Jr. Uncles; Louis Carlisle, Ramon Carlisle, and “Little” Louis Partridge. Siblings: Pauly Carlisle, Carita Carlisle Barnett, and Charles Barnet III “Trey” (nephew Legend Barnett). Children; Tra’Vance, Brooklyn, Bailey (mother Brionna), Keelah, Keeandra, and Ammerii (mother Keely). Special cousins Jonathan “Jon Jon” McGrady and Fredricka McGowan. Special aunt Byonca McGowan (nieces Rain and Nova). God-mothers; Ranita M., Darchella H., and Michell W. Best friends: Shahala, Darius, Cherita and Ranse. As well as a host of family and friends.
William will be greatly missed and leaves behind a lifetime of memories for family and loved ones to cherish. The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the condolences, prayers, and love during this difficult time.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 2 pm until 3 pm at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Glendale Cemetery.
