DeHavilland Lewis passed away on September 18, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic. She was born to the late Conwell Sr. and Annie Louise Findley in Akron, Ohio.
DeHavilland graduated from Buchtel High School in 1966 and attended Central State University. DeHavilland was employed at Monsanto for 19 years, Volvo 4 years, and retired from Ben Venue Laboratories after 10 years.
On January 10, 1976, she was united in marriage to John Lewis.
DeHavilland attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a former member of the VFW. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking for family and friends, interior design, and she loved going to the casinos.
DeHavilland will forever be missed by her loving husband of 47 years, John Lewis; brother, Conwell (Frances) Findley Jr. Sister in Laws; Pauline (James) Staples, Josephine Greene, and Deloris Miller; nieces, DeHavilland, Tammi, and Marzett Findley, Talesha, Davis; nephew, Garland Byrd; great niece, Trinity Davis; great nephew, Jalen Findley, bonus mother, Mangia Holmes, best friend, Gwen Autry, and a host of relatives and many good friends.
