Andreas Hammond “aka Tone T” was born September 10, 1975, in Memphis, TN, and departed this earth April 1, 2022.
He attended Akron Public Schools and later was employed by Middlebury Manor as Director of Activities, until the time the facility closed.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his children. Tone enjoyed what he called “hitting the block”, riding in his car listening to some of his favorite artist like E-40 & B-Legit.
Tone truly loved God and his family and had daily prayer with his kids.
Andreas is preceded in death by his father Tommie Lee Forrest, grandmother Evelyn Forrest and grandfathers Anderson Forrest and Otis Hammond.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his fiance’ Shavona Baily of 24 years, his mother Gwen Hammond, grandmother Ruthie Hammond, daughters Andrea and Armoni, son Andreas Hammond Jr all of Akron Ohio. Sisters Sherita(Gerald) Fitch Jr., Ashaunti Hammond of Akron and Sheneka Newman of Winona, MS., brother Alont’ae McMeans of San Diego CA., sister’s in law Taiti and Ebony of Akron., Maternal aunts Shirley Hammonds-Blanks, Lynda Nation ( Ft. Lauderdale FL.), Celesta Hammond, Cassandra Hammond, Kimberly Averitt, Marceia Hammond and Jacqueline(Kenneth)Millender all of Akron Oh. Uncles Otis and Antwaine Hammond Sr. of Akron. Paternal aunts Mary(John) West of Memphis TN, Deboria Journigan of New Jersey and Hattie Ghoston of Atlanta Ga.
A host of cousins (that were all special to him) extended brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and friends near and far.
