Anna Mae Johnson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16,
2021.

She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, later moving to Akron, Ohio in 1969. Anna was the eldest of 7 children. In 1975 she started working at the Akron Children Guidance Center, which is now known as Child Guidance Center & Family Solutions. She retired in 2014 after 39 years of service. Upon retiring she volunteered at the Barberton Citizens Hospital.

Anna was such a kind and loving person, she had compassion for everyone. There is nothing she would not do for you. She was loved by everyone that knew her, she will be greatly missed.

She enjoyed concerts, plays and going to the movies. Anna was an avid reader, loved solving word find puzzles and going to dinner with friends.

Anna was loved and adopted 52 years ago into the Rivers family. She was loved by the Bradford family as well. She enjoyed many family reunions,
activities and celebrations. She loved her family, family was everything to her, she enjoyed visiting them often in West Virginia.

Anna was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Johnson; special aunt, Anna Mae (Charles) Harris. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sisters, Lucinda Johnson, Juanita Patricia (Anthony) Hart, Brenda Garwood; her loving brothers, Edward Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Richard Johnson; nephews, Lester Johnson and Charles Johnson; nieces, Ulanda Johnson, Carla Johnson, Tyriq Johnson and great niece, Capri and a host of more nieces, nephews, cousins of Martinsburg, W. VA; special sister and best friend of 52 years, Bernadine Scott, special sister, LaVerne Rivers; special brother, Maurice (Penny) Rivers and special nephew, Eric Scott.
