On May 12, 2026, Harry Lee King, 75, boarded his final flight, leaving Carson, California, and beginning his journey to his eternal heavenly home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:30 am at Mount Peace Cemetery, 183 Aqueduct St., Akron, Oh 44303. Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery gate no later than 11:45 am. Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Goodyear United Steelworkers Local 2, 501 Kelly Ave. Akron, Oh 44306.

The last time I saw Harry was at the American Legion with him me and Big Wham. We had a great time laughing and joking. Harry was a great guy and I was very taken aback to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to the family and all his friends here in L.A. R.I.H my brother.
