Lola Mae Wims was born March 7, 1940, in Georgianna Alabama to Frank and Earmie Porter. She moved to Akron, Ohio at the age of 7 and resided in the community for the remainder of her life. In her teen years Lola loved to roller-skate, listen to music, dance, read comic books and spend time with her then boyfriend Allie Wims. Lola was joined in Holy Matrimony to Allie in October of 1957.
Lola was called home by the Lord on February 16, 2024.
