Mary Elliott passed away suddenly on May 27, 2021

Mary was born on July 30, 1943 to Charles and Josephine Wilson in Kentucky.

She lived in Massillon and later moved to Akron in 1977. Mary retired from Akron General Hospital.

Mary loved bowling and playing bingo. The family always looked forward to her 4th of July bingo game, at our annual 4th of July picnic. She loved to bake, her chocolate chips and sugar cookies will be missed on the holidays. Mary made the best pound cake, which was so moist. She was a soft- spoken gentle lady. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Vincent, Kevin Sr. (Norie) and Jason (Evelyn) Elliott; siblings, Don Starks, Angela (Michael) Irby and Sandra (Joseph) Townsend; grandchildren, Sophia, Kevin Jr., Kimora and Jaslynn Elliott and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow.
