Norman Wolfe
Norman B. Wolfe, age 71, peacefully departed this life surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 1, 1954, in Akron, Ohio, and was the youngest of four children born to the union of the late John Henry Wolfe Sr. and Hattie Lois Wolfe.
Norman was educated in the Akron Public Schools and proudly served his country by joining the United States Marine Corps in 1975. His military service reflected the dedication, strength, and resilience that he carried throughout his life.
A skilled carpenter and talented handyman, Norman took great pride in working with his hands and helping others. Whether repairing a home, building something from scratch, or lending a helping hand, he was known for his craftsmanship and willingness to serve those around him.
Norman enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, hunting, cooking, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, he cherished the moments shared with those he loved. He shared an especially close and meaningful bond with his oldest granddaughter, Brooklyn, whose love, devotion, and compassionate care brought him great comfort in his later years.
Norman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley M. Wolfe; his parents, John Henry Wolfe Sr. and Hattie L. Wolfe; his mother-in-law, Mary E. Jones; his brother, Marvin R. LeNeo; and his sister, Ann C. Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children: Dierre Pearl, Norman Jay (Latoya) Wolfe Jr., Carmesha (Kevin) Williams, and Janelle Wolfe; his treasured grandchildren: Brooklyn, Dakota, Milan, Dariona, Ava, Daryion, Jayden, and Hayden; his great-grandson, Tre; his brother, John Wolfe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Norman’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched with his kindness, his hard work, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sending prayers and condolences to the Wolfe family. Norman was a school friend of my father (Garland Bell). Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting him, his name was always associated with my dad as they were together on that fatal July day in 1974. I know my dad was waiting to see his dear friend as he transitioned to be with our Lord.

Sending condolences from The Lane Family,
I often reminisce of my Bellvue neighbors and so much fun and love we had growing up.
My thoughts and prayers to you all,
Norman was considered as my best friend as far back in our school years. I did get to see him in person a couple of months ago but only for about 30 minutes. I just found out about his passing a few minutes ago, about the same time he was getting buried. I am so sorry for the family, wish I could have been there to see my best friend off on his journey to heaven.
