Raynard Trice was born on January 17, 1948, in Akron, Ohio.
He was the eldest son of the late Larnell and Inez Trice.
Raynard fearlessly served in the U.S. army and was honorably discharged in 1973. He worked as a union iron worker for more than 30 years. He was a proud charter member of the Akron Zulus motorcycle club. Raynard was a 32nd° Prince Hall Mason. He was a member of Phoenix Lodge 112 and Dezaleel Consistory #15. Raynard was also a Noble of Al Kaf Temple 109 and a member of The American Legion, John Fulton post 272.
Raynard was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Charlotte Trice, brothers; Phillip, Mark, and Keith Trice. He is survived by brother Anthony (Loretta) Trice of Charleston, SC, Sisters, Sharon Trice (Keith), and Francine (William) Pyre, of Akron, Sons; Detrus Lewis, Raynard Sommerville, Raymond (Keisha) Trice, and Julian (Keya) Worthy, Akron, Brandon Trice, Columbus, OH. Daughters; Raylyn Trice, Crystal Trice, Nicole Sammons, Akron, Courtney Trice, Columbus, OH, and Amber McCraney, Dallas, TX. Raynard also leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, his favorite niece Shonta “Pooka” Trice, special nephew JayDee Lewis, and a host of other family and friends.
