Sheila Davis, 67 of Akron, OH, made her peaceful transition on Friday, August 27th after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Sheila was born in Akron, OH on November 23, 1953, to Herbert and Pansy (Smith) Hill. She graduated from Buchtel High School in 1972 and remained in Akron until her death.

As a licensed esthetician and entrepreneur, Sheila fulfilled her dream of opening her own business Shekkinah Wellness Studio and touched the lives of many with her beautiful smile, positive energy, compassion, and encouraging spirit. Her positivity and faith remained throughout her courageous fight, allowing her to encourage others. Being a motivational speaker for those who shared the same battle was an honor for her and one of her proudest moments.

Sheila’s life radiated beautiful energy. She loved her family and was the glue that held everything together. Her presence will be greatly missed. Sheila is preceded in death by her parents Herbert Hill, Pansy Hill, and reunited with her beloved son Dominic Michael Davis, whom she sorely missed.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 45 years Vaughn Davis, daughter, Danielle (Sullivan) Rogers, son, Donovan (Jan) Davis; grandchildren, Cheyenne Davis, Christopher Davis, Sullivan Rogers Jr, Xzavier Goldsby-Rogers, Sidney Rogers, Alistair Davis, and Sebastian Davis; great grandchildren, Camille Irvine, Carson Irvine, Jeremiah Davis, and Alecia Medina; siblings, Yvonne (Elmer) Long of Akron, Elaine Davis of Conyers GA, Veronda (Marion) Perkins of Atlanta GA, Peggy Hill of Mansfield OH, Howard (Michelle) Hill of Williamsburg VA, and a host of relatives, friends, and clients.
