Tiffany Janeen Peters, (aka Tiff), 52, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024. Tiffany was born on October 8, 1971, in Akron, Ohio to the late Freddie Mae (Peggy) Peters and Richard Phillips.

Tiffany was known for her devotion to family and friends, embodying the roles of devoted loving mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. Tiffany had an affinity for the elderly community with many gravitating towards her kind old soul including her maternal Grandma. Tiffany’s love of HipHop included SoSo Def artist DaBrat and Aliyah! All who knew Tiffany knew that Luke, her beloved support rabbit, had a very special place in her heart ensuring vital emotional support.

More than anything, Tiffany was most proud of watching her baby boy Brandon grow into a remarkable man! Watching Brandon grow into a husband and father and caring for his family was a true highlight.  Through recent health issues, Tiffany loved her family and was thankful for her son, sister, brothers, and extended family who were a constant source of care, concern, and love.

Tiffany attended Akron Public Schools; shortly thereafter, she began working with Seniors at Old Dominion Convent in Columbus, Ohio.

Tiffany was preceded in death by father, Richard Phillips; mother, Peggy; grandmothers, Merdis Carter and Mary Phillips; grandfather, Robert Stuart.

She leaves to cherish her memory son, Brandon (Skylah) Peters; sister, Felicia House,  Akron, Oh; brothers, Ronnie Carter, Strongsville, Oh and Robbie Peters, Las Vegas, NV; stepfather, Robert Peters; granddaughters, Matayah and Sariah Peters; aunts, Ruby Carter-Knight (Mike), Las Vegas, NV; special aunt, Carolyn Carter, Akron, Oh; uncle, Greg (Donna) Carter, Akron, Oh;  godson, Chris Dobbs; special friends, Kellie Michelle, Lavail Duncan, Charlie Murray and host of family of friends.

Calling hours will be held, Friday, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Road, Akron, Oh 44320. Memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
