Darlene was born November 28, 1960, in Akron, Ohio to Herbert and Dorothy Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Wimberly and father, Herbert Hamilton Jr. ;  brothers, Herbert Hamilton III; grandfather, Herbert Hamilton Sr.; grandmothers, Mable Mason and Willie Barnes; sisters, Robin Tolbert and Joanie Hamilton; niece, Karlissa Young and nephew, Karl Young.

She leaves to mourn her passing daughters, Nicole Pearson, Tracey Jones, Lisa Tiona Jones; sons, Deon (Carmen) Wardlaw, Lamar (Desiree) Pearson, Terrell Pearson and Kimani; sisters, Debbie Hamilton and Tracey Hamilton Ashby; brother, James (Carmen) McVay; grandchildren, Domanic, Taylor, Myra, TaJa’e, Rakiya, Jacari, Lamar Jr., Ky’Aire, Tra’Prince, Tra’vione, Tra’Niyah, Tra’Lamar, Dionna, Donnae’, Siyuanna and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
